If you shop at Safeway stores in Washington, and spend $10 on fruits and vegetables with your EBT card and Safeway Club Card you will receive a $5 coupon for your next purchase. The Washington State Department of Health is pleased to announce Complete Eats is relaunching in December, thanks to a generous grant from the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation.

Where: Complete Eats will be available at all Safeway stores in Washington except stores located in Seattle. Safeway stores in Seattle have a similar program funded through the Sweetened Beverage Tax.

How it works: Shoppers who buy at least $10 worth of qualifying fruits and vegetables using their SNAP/EBT card and their Safeway Club Card will get a coupon for $5 off their next purchase.

When: Soon! Complete Eats will relaunch by December 5th.

How long will the program last? The grant will fund up to $1 million of Complete Eats coupons, which will allow the program to run for up to 7 months (through June 2019). DOH continues to look for funds to extend programming.
